Wow. What a frame! Renauld primarily made top of the line sunglasses and while these could have been sunglasses, they're optical quality frames, meaning they are made for prescription lenses. They came from an old optical shop and based both on where I found them and their condition, I don't think they've ever been worn or had lenses in them. They're all aluminum, except for the solid, five-barrel hinges, which are steel, I'm sure, and they're finished in a light brown bright chrome all over! (You'll see some darker areas in some of the photos, but those are reflections of dark space behind the camera.) They're very large and though the bridge figure is 14 mm because the lenses come close together in the middle, you can see they have a uni-fit bridge and should fit most noses. Really nice
design and lines, great finish, super pair of frames, ready for lenses!

Temples are measured their full length, hinge to tip, as though they were straightened out. Why? Because they're adjustable, so measurements to the bend will vary based on maker and adjustment. Lens and bridge measurements are from lens edge to lens edge. Hinge to hinge is measured from screw to screw. There's a spot on the right temple where the arms likely touched while they were folded closed for so many years. It's minor and might not be visible in the photos (check the side-view photo), but I give the full report. That's the only spot and they're otherwise in mint condition, so that area is why I gave them a lower grade. I'm thorough about condition so there are no surprises and these glasses are in excellent condition. They'll make great everyday glasses or some very cool sunglasses.
