 Measurements

These classic men's black plastic vintage eyeglasses are in mint condition and ready for prescription lenses or sunglasses. The frame is marked ''50/22'' and the arms read ''FRAME FRANCE SM TOMMY''. The plastic has a nice sheen with no cracks, crazing or discoloration and the rivets shine bright.

This is the Tommy model from Shane-Michael Optical in classic black, dating from the middle to later 1960s. They've never been worn and never had lenses. Nice smooth bridge, stout five barrel hinges, very cool details on the temples and thick zyl throughout. Super frames, ready for lenses and fashionable service.

Temples are measured their full length, hinge to tip, as though they were straightened out. Why? Because they're adjustable, so measurements to the bend vary based on maker and adjustment. Lens and bridge measurements are from lens edge to lens edge. Hinge to hinge is measured from screw to screw.

All frames are thoroughly inspected before leaving the Attic. I'm thorough about condition so there are no surprises and these glasses are in mint condition. They'll make great everyday glasses or some very cool sunglasses.
