| These classic
vintage blackwood silver combination eyeglasses are in mint condition and ready for prescription lenses or sunglasses. The bridge is marked ''1/10-12K GF SRO 24'', the frame is marked ''48 24'' and the arms read ''USA 6''. The markings mean the lower half of the frame is 12 karat
gnold-filled. The arms and brows have a nice sheen with no cracks, crazing or discoloration.  |

Great combination frame from Styl Rite Optical (SRO) dating from the middle 1950s and unused, never worn, never had lenses. These are in blackwood over silver with great silver rivets on all the corners. The temples are the taper style with a nice flare at the end and the hinges move nicely, no flop or wobble. The nose pads are original and still clear and smooth. Super frames, ready to go!

Temples are measured their full length, hinge to tip, as though they were straightened out. Why? Because they're adjustable, so measurements to the bend vary based on maker and adjustment. Lens and bridge measurements are from lens edge to lens edge. Hinge to hinge is measured from screw to screw. All frames are thoroughly inspected before leaving the Attic. I'm thorough about condition so there are no surprises and these glasses are in mint condition. They'll make great everyday glasses or some very cool sunglasses.
