These classic G-man Malcolm X vintage blackwood silver eyeglasses are in mint condition and ready for prescription lenses or sunglasses. The arms are marked ''ZIMCO WOLCOTT BLACKWOOD HANDMADE 48-20-145'' and the glasses are otherwise unmarked.
Nice combination from the 90s by Zimco. They were likely demo models and will come with their demo lenses. They are unused, never had lenses installed. Nice, dark blackwood zyl, bright silver details, tight hinges, great shape to the temples. All the screws are tested and working properly and the nose pads are clear and clean. Super frames, ready for lenses!
Temples are measured their full length, hinge to tip, as though they were straightened out. Why? Because they're adjustable, so measurements to the bend vary based on maker and adjustment. Lens and bridge measurements are from lens edge to lens edge. Hinge to hinge is measured from screw to screw.n All frames are thoroughly inspected before leaving the Attic. I'm thorough about condition so there are no surprises and these glasses are in mint condition. They'll make great everyday glasses or some very cool sunglasses.
