These classic men's black plastic vintage eyeglasses are in excellent condition and ready for prescription lenses or sunglasses. The frame is marked ''46 22'' and the arms read ''6 USA''. The plastic has a nice sheen with no cracks, crazing or discoloration and the rivets shine bright. Really nice pair of frames, likely from the early- to middle 1960s. These are only marked for the USA and don't have a maker's mark, so I can't say who made them, but they're nice frames. Those elongated hexagon rivets are very cool and a shape I've not seen before, always fun to find something unusual. They have a keyhole bridge with deep, clear bridge tabs, broad temples and strong, tight seven barrel hinges, no wobble. Great frames, ready to go!
Temples are measured their full length, hinge to tip, as though they were straightened out. Why? Because they're adjustable, so measurements to the bend will vary based on maker and adjustment. Lens and bridge measurements are from lens edge to lens edge. Hinge to hinge is measured from screw to screw. I describe any flaws found while cleaning, but there are no problems to report with this pair. I'm thorough about condition so there are no surprises and these glasses are in excellent condition. They'll make great everyday glasses or some very cool sunglasses.
If you have any questions about this pair of glasses or anything else, please don't hesitate to contact me. I try to answer all questions promptly.
