These classic classic vintage silver t-o metal frames eyeglasses are in mint condition and ready for prescription lenses or sunglasses. The bridge is marked ''TITMUS 50 - 22'' and the arms read ''TITMUS 5 3/4''.
This is a frame by Titmus Optical, likely made in the middle to late 1970s, though they continued this design longer than many. It's unused vintage stock, never worn, never had lenses. I've always liked this model. The lens shape is a little lower than many vitage frames, the bridge is set a bit higher, giving it a sleek look. The nose pads are clip-on, so easily replaced in the future. The bridge matches the temples and the temples are nice and thick, finished off with big, comfortable smoke-gray temple tips. Nice frames, ready for classy service! .
Temples are measured their full length, hinge to tip, as though they were straightened out. Why? Because they're adjustable, so measurements to the bend vary based on maker and adjustment. Lens and bridge measurements are from lens edge to lens edge. Hinge to hinge is measured from screw to screw. All frames are thoroughly inspected before leaving the Attic. I'm thorough about condition so there are no surprises and these glasses are in mint condition. They'll make great everyday glasses or some very cool sunglasses.
