This is a new frame made by one of my favorite makers - the first maker in the US - American Optical. They recently did
this line of very high quality frames they called their ''Renaissance'' line and this is
the Renaissance ''Ramsey 104'' model. I see elements of some their famous frames in this line and
this model reminds me of the old AO Liner is some respects. Nice line detail on the temples and bridge when viewed from the front and a rectangular lens shape, so proportionally similar to the Liner. The Renaissance line uses a titanium frame structure finished with real gold and some are even 1/10 12-karat gold-filled, just like the old ones. You'll notice the pads are quite similar to the old AO shell pads, very well-done.
The Ramsey comes in three finishes, gold, silver and bronze, each shown below.
This frame has the very neat feature that the bridge and hinge extensions can be increased in width, each point having about 1 mm in adjustment space. I've shown the frame in gold and bronze in the narrowest configuration and the silver photo shows the widest configuration.

Note also the fine filigree work on top of the bridge and the hinge extensions, a nice
detail visible on the hinge close-up photo below.

Temples are measured their full length, hinge to tip, as though they were straightened out. Why? Because they're adjustable, so measurements to the bend vary based on maker and adjustment.
For this frame, add about 1/4'' (5 mm) to the temple length to get an idea of
the overall temple length from the lenses - this because the hinge extends back
away from the frame front. Lens and bridge measurements are from lens edge to lens edge. Hinge to hinge is measured from screw to screw.

They'll come with your choice of case, as shown above. They originally retailed for well above this price and if you do some hunting among titanium frames I think you'll find this is quite a nice price for titanium, particularly finished in gold and from such a wonderful maker, too. These really are nice frames, very well done and ready to go. I'm thorough about condition so there are no surprises and these glasses are in mint condition. They'll make great everyday glasses or some very cool sunglasses.
