These classic men's black plastic vintage eyeglasses are in really excellent condition and ready for prescription lenses or sunglasses. The frame is marked ''48 20'' and the arms read ''ZYLOWARE 6 ' ' FRAME FRANCE NYLON''. The plastic has a nice sheen with no cracks, crazing or discoloration.

This is the Invincible model from Zyloware, probably made in the early- to mid-1960s. There was a time this frame was a military issue frames in large part because it truly is almost invincible. The frame is made of nylon, which makes it nearly unbreakable. It can be bent into the shape of a pretzel and when you let it go it returns to the original shape. Another favorite feature about the Invincible is that there's a support wire in the temple ends at the ear. This allows you to shape the temple ends to match your ears, instead bending them and having them return to their original shape. This is a nice feature. The hinges are nice and tight and the bridge is smooth and clean. Great frame, ready to go!

Temples are measured their full length, hinge to tip, as though they were straightened out. Why? Because they're adjustable, so measurements to the bend vary. Lens and bridge measurements are from lens edge to lens edge. Hinge to hinge is measured from screw to screw.

They have some very light rubbing on the temples at the ears, not visible when worn and I think you'll agree, very minor stuff. I'm thorough about condition so there are no surprises and these glasses are in really excellent condition. They'll make great everyday glasses or some very cool sunglasses.
