These classic gold rimless 3 piece antique eyeglasses are in mint condition and ready for prescription lenses or sunglasses. The bridge is marked ''STN'' and the glasses are otherwise unmarked. The original paper tag will accompany the bridge (must be removed for polishing the bridge) and tells us the bridge is 1/10 12 Kt. gold filled, as were most frames from this period.

This saddle bridge frame is unused antique stock, never worn, never fitted and in pristine condition. The temples have that almost musical ''spring'' and note the teardrop finials at the tips, a nice touch. You'll see the screws are uncut, the way they came from the maker. Your optician will cut and file them to length after fitting your lenses. The hinges are nice and tight, the temples have no wear and the bridge is smooth, clean and curve that's gentle of the nose. Wonderful frames in mint condition, ready to go..

How to measure for vintage frames.

Please note that the lenses shown here are for display only. You are purchasing the bridge, temples, hinges and screws. Everything you need for a pair of glasses – just add your own lenses! Rimless frames allow you to pick the shape of your lens - oval, round, octagonal, you name it. The lens and overall width dimensions listed are for the display lenses only. Your own measurements will be determined by your choice of lens. Remember that temples are always measured their full length, hinge to tip, as though they were straightened out. Why? Because they're adjustable, so measurements to the bend will vary based on who wore the frame. Lens and bridge measurements are from lens edge to lens edge. Hinge to hinge is measured from screw to screw.

I describe any flaws found while cleaning, but there are no problems to report with this pair. (If you disagree with my assessment, send them back for a full refund including the shipping paid, too!) I'm thorough about condition so there are no surprises and can honestly say these glasses are in mint condition. They'll make great everyday glasses or some very cool sunglasses.
