These classic G-man Malcolm X vintage bronze gold eyeglasses are in mint condition and ready for prescription lenses or sunglasses. The bridge is marked ''USO 10K RGP 22'', the frame is marked ''ALUM 46'' and the arms read ''US OPTICAL 5 3/4''.

These frames are unused vintage stock from United States Optical, dating from the middle 1950s. The aluminum brows and temples are two-tone chrome and satin bronze. The bridge and rims are 10-karat gold plated. The nose pads and temple tips are clear and pliable. These are just like they came out of the USO facility, just 50 years in hiding. The screws are all tested and working properly, so lenses should be straightforward and the hinges are nice and snug, no wobble. Great frames, ready for years of strong and very cool service.

Remember that temples are always measured their full length, hinge to tip, as though they were straightened out. Why? Because they're adjustable, so measurements to the bend vary. Lens and bridge measurements are from lens edge to lens edge. Hinge to hinge is measured from screw to screw.

All frames are thoroughly inspected before leaving the Attic. I'm thorough about condition so there are no surprises and these glasses are in mint condition. They'll make great everyday glasses or some very cool sunglasses.
