These classic silver round Windsor antique eyeglasses are in mint condition and ready for your prescription lenses. The glasses are unmarked.

These are either aluminum or nickel, so they'll wear well. They're new antique stock, that is, they've never been worn and are unused stock. The bridge is an early style without arms, very unique these days. The hinges are ''spoon'' style, a British term that describes the way the rim joint is covered by the little scoop of the temple arm when the glasses are fully opened. Note the handmade finials at the tips of the temples. The hinges give good resistance, the temples show no wear and the bridge is smooth and clean. These frames are in mint condition.

How to measure for vintage frames.

Wire rims are flexible, so lenses can be made to a variety of shapes for this frame. This style is worn round, but can also be worn with nearly round lenses or other shapes. Remember that temples are always measured their full length, hinge to tip, as though they were straightened out. Why? Because they're adjustable, so measurements to the bend will vary based on who wore the frame! Lens and bridge measurements are from lens edge to lens edge. Hinge to hinge is measured from screw to screw.

I describe any flaws found while cleaning, but there are no problems to report with this pair. I'm particular about condition so there are no surprises and can honestly say these glasses are in mint condition. They'll make great everyday glasses or some very cool sunglasses.
