US Postal Service Insurance

Using the US Mail keeps shipping costs low. Another way to keep transit costs down is not automatically insuring shipments. This decision is left up to you. I do pack very well and am pleased to say there's been no damage to any shipments (thousands of packages and counting!), insured or otherwise. 

USPS insurance is at your option and rates are currently as follows. Insured packages require signature, per USPS policy, and they do not waive this option. To select any amount of coverage, up to the value of your purchase, click the corresponding ''Add to cart'' button below:

Please note that the above shipping insurance is only for US shipments and is not for international shipping. Only the USPS Express Mail International carries insurance. (USPS policy... if I could do it, I would!)

I ship to APO and FPO addresses on a regular basis. There is no additional charge for APO or FPO shipping.

Special Order and Back-Order Multiple Shipments

Special-order items, generally marked with an asterisk (*), will ship on the posted timeframes listed for those pieces. Usually within 7 to 10 days for US items and up to 6 weeks for overseas special order items. If your order includes both special-order and in-stock items, please allow the posted timeframe for your completed order to ship or please do email in advance to make arrangements. 

Back-order items are non-special order items. Back-order timeframes vary depending upon the circumstance, but most US items will ship within 10 days of your order. If your order includes both back-order and in-stock items, I'll email to make arrangements. Please note that secondary shipments will be sent USPS First Class, Delivery Confirmation, unless other arrangements are made.

International Shipping

** - The rates above are example rates. Rates vary based on items purchased and destination nation. The rates above would be about right to most nations in or near Europe. Additional pairs sometimes ship for this same price or a small increment increase. Transit times are estimates and can differ based on location and your nation's customs processing time and also based on your national postal service.

The shopping cart will calculate shipping rates to most locations, worldwide. You'll get the exact rates during Step 2 of the Check-Out process and you can modify your order at that time. No credit card or PayPal information is collected until after this step.

I ship internationally via the US Postal Service (USPS) using Express Mail International for shipping with tracking and insurance included in the rate. I also offer USPS First Class International shipping, but this option includes no insurance and no tracking and can take up to a month in transit, depending on customs processing in the receiving nation. If you select the First Class International, please allow the extended time for your package to arrive. Using either method, packages are typically delivered by your country's national postal service. I don't cover lost or damaged items, so the Express International is the recommended choice. I do pack very well and am happy to say I've still had no damage to any international shipments to date. 

All packages carry address labels inside the package, in case your customs office misplaces the original packaging. The estimated transit times can be longer due to customs processing time in your country. Forms will not list contents as a ''gift''. Also note that I only accept funds in US dollars for purchases from outside the US.
