These classic men's tortoise plastic eyeglasses are brand new, mint condition and ready for prescription lenses or sunglasses. The bridge is marked ''47 - 21'' and the arms read ''Woody G005 TOR 47 - 21 145 CE GOLDFINCH Frame China AIU''.

Here's a frame from a well-known old name, Tura. As the markings suggest, this is a contemporary frame. Their model name is ''Woody'' and their color name is Havana Tortoise. As you can see in the detail photo, the hinges are not attached to the diamond decoration on the front of the frame like the old ones did with real rivets. This type of attachment is called a hidden hinge and the diamond decorations are attached similarly. The frames will come ready for lenses and will include ''demo'' lenses marked Goldfinch and useful for marking bifocal segments and/or use as a lens pattern.

Temples are measured their full length, hinge to tip, as though they were straightened out. Why? Because they're adjustable, so measurements to the bend vary based on maker and adjustment. Lens and bridge measurements are from lens edge to lens edge. Hinge to hinge is measured from screw to screw.

All frames are thoroughly inspected before leaving the Attic. I'm thorough about condition so there are no surprises and your pair will be carefully inspected. They'll make great everyday glasses or some very cool sunglasses.
