These classic men's brown smoke plastic vintage eyeglasses are in excellent condition and ready for prescription lenses or sunglasses. The arms are marked ''5 3/4'' FRAME ITALY SAFILO SERGIO'' and the glasses are otherwise unmarked. The plastic has a nice sheen with no cracks, crazing or discoloration.

This is the Sergio model from Safilo, made in Italy around the early 1970s and in super shape. Dig the temple detail and the smoke pattern (Safilo has always had beautiful plastic patterns. The bridge is smooth and clean, they're good sized and how about those nine barrel hinges - super smooth and strong. Very cool, ready to go!

Temples are measured their full length, hinge to tip, as though they were straightened out. Why? Because they're adjustable, so measurements to the bend will vary based on maker and adjustment. Lens and bridge measurements are from lens edge to lens edge. Hinge to hinge is measured from screw to screw.

There are very small indicators of having had lenses on the back of the frame front and on the temples where they touch when closed, not visible when worn and very minor, but I give the full report of everything found while cleaning. Great frames! I'm thorough about condition so there are no surprises and these glasses are in excellent condition. They'll make great everyday glasses or some very cool sunglasses.
