Great pair of frames from Welling, a popular maker in the 1960s and 1970s. These are a darker brownwood color with some really neat iridescence in the graining pattern, too. They've never had lenses, though they were found with an old tag, so were likely demo frames in an optical shop. Smooth, clean bridge, nice lower lens height not seen in many vintage frames and
thick temples in great shape. Super frames, ready to go!

Temples are measured their full length, hinge to tip, as though they were straightened out. Why? Because they're adjustable, so measurements to the bend will vary based on maker and adjustment. Lens and bridge measurements are from lens edge to lens edge. Hinge to hinge is measured from screw to screw. I describe any flaws found while cleaning, but there are no problems to report with this pair. I'm thorough about condition so there are no surprises and these glasses are in really excellent condition. They'll make great everyday glasses or some very cool sunglasses.
